Galena Country Fair boasts more than 150 vendors offering original, handmade
arts, crafts and fine arts. Held in
picturesque Grant Park overlooking historic Galena, Illinois, the
fair is a Columbus Day weekend tradition.
Arts & Crafts
Quality baskets,
birdhouses, floral items, folk art, jewelry, metal work, pottery, stained glass, wood items, wreaths and more.
Fine Arts
Oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, pen and ink drawings,
decorative and functional ceramic and glass items, photography,
etchings and more.
Country Bake Shop
Made-from-scratch baked goods, fresh pastries, pies, cakes,
breads and cookies.
Farmers'
Markets
Maple syrup, honey and locally-grown apples, pumpkins,
squash, gourds and more.
Family Fun
Children's games, contests
and face painting. Live entertainment, raffles and a silent auction.
Fair Food
Fair favorites including caramel apples,
homemade french fries, funnel cakes, fudge, baked potatoes and ice
cream.
Gazebo Garden:
European breakfast (8am-10am),
sausage, cheese, and

Cellars Winery wine.
Vittle House:
Brats, chili, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches.
McCountry:
Italian beef and pork chop sandwiches.
Live Entertainment
Live bands and traditional Irish dancing.
A Good Cause
Galena Country Fair is volunteer organized with event proceeds
returned to the community. More than $66,000 was donated following
the 2006 fair. Please support this worthwhile cause.
