26th Annual Galena Country Fair

GALENA, IL—More than 150 artists and craftspeople from across the country converge
on Galena, Illinois, on October 8-9, 2005, for the 26^th Annual Galena Country Fair. Held in picturesque Grant Park, Galena Country Fair is a Columbus Day weekend tradition. The
juried event features original handmade products including baskets, jewelry, metal work,
pottery, photography, etching, paintings and more.

Galena Country Fair features fun family activities including children’s games, contests and
face painting. Enjoy made-from-scratch baked good and favorite fair foods including caramel apples, funnel cakes, homemade French fries and ice cream. Gather produce and locally-
grown products fresh from the farm. Farmers’ market vendors offer apples, squash, pumpkins and gourds, plus honey and maple syrup.
