Galena Country Fair Announced Vendor Winners

GALENA, IL – The 2006 Galena Country Fair vendor winners are as follows:

CRAFTS

First Place:

Material Girl Designs, Mary Christian
Women’s jackets made of designer fabrics and adorned with vintage buttons.

Second Place:

Spiral Alchemy, Randy Neu
Captured glass kinetic sculpture created using solid copper, blown glass,
Swarovski crystals and aluminum. Suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
Some motorized pieces.

Third Place:

Kandleboxes by Kelly, Kelly Price
Stained glass candleboxes, stained glass window hangers and
fused glass golf games.

COUNTRY CRAFTS

First Place:

Little Quilt Company, Kim and Gary Schaefer
Handcrafted table runners, towels and small wall quilts.

Second Place:

Ozark Creations, Brenda Koppes
Gourd crafts: birdhouses, apples, pumpkins, Santas, snowmen and
more made from gourds. Hand painted garden chairs and sleds.

Third Place:

Marilyn Barron

FINE ARTS

First Place:

Diane Tertin
Watercolor with pen and ink.

Second Place:

Wennersten Etchings, Jay Wennersten
Original hand etched, hand printed, hand colored copper plates.

Third Place:

Bollwitt Publishing, Elizabeth Bollwitt
